Community Services: Connect with local organizations and learn about the valuable services they provide. Engage in meaningful conversations and find ways to support the community.
Live Music featuring Queer indy band, The Palace: Get ready to groove to the beats and melodies of these talented musicians. The live music at the festival, headlined by The Palace, will fill the air with joy and celebration. Dance to the sounds of Pride all day with DJ Benny Nations!
Live Entertainment and Drag Performers: Prepare to be dazzled by mesmerizing drag artists. Witness their incredible talents as they take the stage and bring the energy to new heights.
Street Performers: Experience the magic of street performers as they showcase their skills and entertain the crowd with captivating acts. Prepare to be amazed and delighted by their talents.
Kids Zone: Bring the whole family along, as we have something special for everyone! The Kids Zone will feature exciting inflatables, corn hole games, and a Hula Hoop Contest. Let the little ones enjoy a day filled with laughter and play.
Amateur Drag Contest: Calling all aspiring drag performers! Show off your skills and compete in our Amateur Drag Contest. Step into the spotlight and let your creativity shine. Prizes and recognition await!

Pride Myrtle Beach was formed in early 2020 when another local organization announced they would cease operations leaving the Myrtle Beach area without much needed advocacy, education and resources.
Pride Myrtle Beach incorporated and received designation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, received a proclamation from the Myrtle Beach City Council welcoming the organization to Myrtle Beach and declaring June as Pride Month in the city, all within the first six months of 2020. Building the foundation of the organization was put on hold due to the unprecedented effects of COVID-19.
In early 2021, plans cautiously resumed and as more of the population was vaccinated and restrictions on meeting in person were lifted, Pride Myrtle Beach announced monthly informational meetings and formed a committee to choose the first Board of Directors from a growing list of applicants. In May of 2021 plans began on our very first community event, the Pride Month Celebration Picnic.
We are building our organization from the ground, taking care and time to make sure our foundations are strong and our leadership is representative of the community we are serving. Pride Myrtle Beach will operate on four principles; Advocacy, Education, Service and Celebration.
The last few years have been years of attacks on the LGBTQ+ community nationwide. The need for LGBTQ+ organizations like Pride Myrtle Beach will endure as long as there is unequal treatment of our people, no matter their race or ethnicity, gender identity, age, disability or migration status. We will be here for everyone to celebrate the happy times and offer assistance through the bad times. Our programs will require funding so if you can make a donation please do so, as often as you can, so we can lift up those who need our help.

We provide cultural, artistic, social and educational events which affirm the lives of LGBTQ+ people and our allies and supporters throughout the Grand Strand. We promote unity, inclusion, and awareness of sexual and gender diversity and aim to create a sense of community and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals, their families and their allies.
